日本熊本 金色羅皇西瓜

金羅王西瓜是由奈良縣南特種子株式會社歷時八年培育的黃色西瓜，於2021年在全國首發。
其特徵是果肉金黃，糖度極高，名副其實。
在上市前，公司向幾位技藝精湛的西瓜種植者分發了試種種子，陸續培育出了糖度高達15-16度的西瓜。

此外，在南特種子舉辦的「金色羅王大獎賽」（評選最高糖度的比賽）上，最高糖度達到了20.6度。

對於一個據說糖度只有12度就已經很甜的西瓜來說，這遠遠超出常人的甜度。
