金普庫西瓜呈圓形，色澤光滑金黃，果肉為紅色，重量約2公斤

金福西瓜是2000年在福井市園藝中心開發的Kodama無核西瓜的新品種

作為福井市的新品牌農產品，從1997年（1997年）開始進行交配選擇試驗，並於2000年7月成功培育了新品！
